Behind the Words with TALK contributing writer Chris Worthy

With Thanksgiving on all of our minds, we wondered what our kindest contributing writer, Chris Worthy, had to say about what should be on our tables this year.

What’s on the table is up to you, but – as cheesy as it might sound – it’s who is around it with you that matters. This year, that might look very different for some, and some shifts and changes are necessary to stay safe and healthy. But if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we are more resilient than we thought, that we can pare down the extraneous stuff that takes up precious time and yes, in spite of or maybe because of all that, we can find gratitude in some of the most likely places. May your table hold things that delight and be surrounded with peace, joy, laughs and the very good medicine of thankfulness.
