UNDER THE ARCTIC: DIGGING INTO PERMAFROST is open at the Upcountry History Museum through Jan. 12. Journey through a 2,000-square-foot immersive and interactive exhibition that explores the incredible sights and smells of the Arctic with hands-on experiments, interactive models, fossil research stations and a 30-foot walk-through replica of the nation’s only permafrost research tunnel. Designed for families, life-long learners and school groups, the exhibition’s distinctive research stations introduce students to diverse STEM careers. THE AMAZING CASTLE, an interactive bilingual (English and Spanish) exhibition featuring knights, kings, queens and a dragon, is open Jan. 25 – May 10 at the Upcountry History Museum. The exhibit will invite visitors to travel back in time to a medieval village filled with opportunities for problem-solving,
