November Arts Calendar

G — A DANCE CLASS FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS is 7:15 – 7:45 p.m. Thursdays at Shock Dance Center in Mauldin. The class has free tuition and a one-time $40 payment at the beginning of the season. Students receive a T-shirt and perform in the annual shock showcase. All proceeds from the showcase go to benefit Lindley’s Alliance which supports special needs youth in the community. Visit

G — AN ADAPTIVE DANCE PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS is 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. Fridays at Heather’s Dance Academy. Monthly tuition is $55 each. Registration is $25. Classes offer a variety of dance, social skills development and more. For details, visit 

G — SUNDAYS AT 2 programs, featuring family activities, gallery tours, music and more, are offered at 2 p.m. Sundays at the Greenville County Museum of Art. Nov. 3 features a demonstration by Karoline and John O'Rourke, founders of Kakilaki StudioArts. Nov. 10 features at talk by Drew Matott of Peace Paper Project. For details, visit

S — FAMILY FUN DAY is 1 – 4 p.m. (drop in) Nov. 10 at Spartanburg Art Museum. Make holiday pop-up cards. The cost is $5 each. On Dec. 8, families can make snow globes. Visit
