Fisher-Price recalls infant cradle swings

Fisher-Price is recalling approximately 34,000 infant cradle swings due to a faulty seat peg, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall includes the following three models of the Fisher-Price cradle swings:

  • CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle 'n Swing
  • CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle 'n Swing
  • CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle 'n Swing

The swings have two different swinging motions. They rock side-to-side or swing head-to-toe, and they feature six different swing speeds from low to high. The product number is located on the seat under the pad.

When the seat peg is not fully engaged, the seat can fall and possibly injure the child. No injuries have been reported.

Customers should stop using the product and contact Fisher-Price for new instructions on how to assemble the swing.

The recalled swings were sold at buybuyBaby, Target, Amazon, and other stores between November 2015 and March 2016.
