The 22nd annual A Dickens of a Christmas, presented by the city of Spartanburg, has been postponed until 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Thursday.

The free event, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 1, is a Victorian-themed holiday festival that takes place along Main Street in downtown Spartanburg. It was rescheduled due to forecasted rain, according to the city's website.

A Dickens of a Christmas features carolers dressed in victorian garb, live festive Christmas music, living window displays, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating on Morgan Square, and the lighting of the Christmas tree at Denny's Plaza.

Several roads in the area will be closed for the festival. For more details, visit http://www.cityofspartanburg.org/dickens-of-a-christmas.
