Styling class Nov. 16 will offer tips on blow drying, more
Have you ever walked out from your hair appointment and wished your hair looked like that every day? How do stylists manage to give you the perfect blow out every time?
The girls at Sweet Tea Salon in Spartanburg plan to share a few of their secrets by offering a styling class 5 - 8 p.m. Nov. 16. While you enjoy a glass of wine, a stylist will demo both a straight blow out and a curly hair style.
“We have a lot of clients who love the way we do blowouts, but have a little trouble duplicating the experience after they leave the salon,” said stylist Abbey Duffy. “We will show you what types of products to use, how to hold the brush and the flat iron, and explain why we use the products that we use. We want people to be get the same results at home.”
Following the demo, staff will shampoo your hair and you will have the opportunity to try out the techniques for yourself. Stylists will be on-hand to give tips and coach class members on technique.
The class is BYOB, or Bring Your Own Brush. Sweet Tea Salon also suggests that you bring your current products. Stylists will look at your current products and suggest other products that may work better for your hair type. You can trade in your old products for a 20 percent discount on new products at the class. Traded products will be donated to the Ellen Hines Smith Girls Home.
The cost of the class is $35 per person and advance reservations are required. Call Sweet Tea Salon at 864-948-9485 to reserve your spot.
