Looking for something unique but not too fancy? These five special burgers are unique to the Upstate.
Grill Marks – With more than a dozen burgers on the menu, and a variety of milkshakes, this is a hot spot in downtown Greenville.
Beacon— At Spartanburg’s vintage diner, patrons love the chili cheese “A-Plenty,” a chili cheeseburger with fries and onion rings piled on. The sweet tea is another favorite. Expect long lines on weekends.
Nosedive – While not specifically a burger joint, the brioche bun and fancy spread on the West Coast Classic Burger is a memorable burger.
American Roadside Burger – This place offers infinite possibilities from turkey burgers, pretzel buns, fried eggs or guacamole, there’s no limit to the types of burgers you could build here.
My Burger 101 – This new burger joint is a great bargain. Most burgers in this price range are fast food, but My Burger 101 is a step above. Fresh ingredients like leafy green lettuce and fluffy bun set My Burger 101 apart – none of the shredded iceberg or flat buns, common at this price point.
