After three kids, I finally devised a solution for bath-time fears about shampoo and water in the eyes.
In the past, our family’s only solution was advising the children to lean back and close their eyes while we poured a cup of water over their hair. Most of the water ran down their backs.
However, a trickle always dripped in the face when rinsing by the forehead.
Now my preschooler holds a dry, folded washcloth or hand towel over her eyes. Any drips are caught in the towel. No more bubbles in her eyes!
