Riding the bus to school? Here’s what you need to know
Did you know you must register your child to ride the school bus to or from school no matter what district you live in?
If you plan to have your child ride the bus to school, check your school district’s website for important information on getting your child registered for transportation and to review bus safety rules with your child.
To be eligible for bus transportation on the first day of school in Greenville County, your transportation request should have been submitted by July 31. Transportation for requests submitted after this date will begin after Labor Day. For more details, visit www.greenville.k12.sc.us/Departments/main.asp?titleid=transp
It’s best to call your specific school or district office to determine your child’s eligibility to ride the bus.
