This is the third year Upstate Parent magazine has sought nominations for outstanding fifth-grade students in Greenville, Spartanburg and Pickens counties We asked school administrators and faculty to let us know about their best and brightest kids. Some of the students profiled excel at academics, but academics wasn’t the only criteria. Exceptional study habits, outstanding classroom performance, leadership abilities, dedication to extracurricular activities, volunteerism — these students reflect a commitment to going above and beyond. They are making a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others. Join us in congratulating these outstanding young people. Our profiles can be found below.
