"Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation are hosting an advanced screening of “The Angry Birds Movie” at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at Regal Hollywood 20. The screening is planned for 3D but could be changed without notice to standard viewing.

Based on the worldwide phenomenon mobile game that has been downloaded over 3 billion times, THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE will take viewers to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, ‘angry birds’ Red, Chuck and Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to. The film features an all-star voice cast led by Jason Sudekis (“SNL”, HORRIBLE BOSSES), Josh Gad (FROZEN), Danny McBride (“Eastbound and Down”), Bill Hader (“SNL”, TRAINWRECK, INSIDE OUT), Maya Rudolph (“SNL”, BRIDESMAIDS) and Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”).
