“Frindle” is performed at 9:45 and 11:45 a.m. Friday at the Peace Center. Based on the multiple award-winning best-selling novel by Andrew Clements, this imaginative tale about creative thought and the power of words is about a young man who invents his own word. The Southern Home & Garden Show is March 2-4 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville. Along with exhibits on home design and landscaping, the event includes a Kid’s Corner sponsored by The Home Depot, with workshops offered at noon and 4 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
