THE PRINCESS ACADEMY, presented by South Carolina Children’s Theatre, is Nov. 18 at the Kroc Center. This year’s event features two classic princesses, as well as a special young Princess in Training and her helpful rabbit friend. Princesses learn about smiling, entering a room, introducing themselves, giving compliments and curtsying, all while learning the importance of kindness and grace. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Best for ages 3 – 8. The event is at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 each for adults and $15 each for children. THE FINAL SEASON OF ROPER MOUNTAIN SCIENCE CENTER’S HOLIDAY LIGHTS transforms the hillside into a winter wonderland beginning Nov. 23.
