Easter is April 16, and families looking for egg hunts have plenty of options. Once again, we’ve compiled an extensive list of the Easter egg hunts and family-themed events happening in the Upstate.

Greenville

Ready for a visit with the Easter Bunny? The Easter Bunny is now at Haywood Mall daily through April 15. To reserve an appointment and view available hours, visit www.simon.com/haywood-mall.

Spartanburg

The Easter Bunny will be at Westgate Mall through April 15 for photos and visits.  Hours are 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Mondays – Saturdays and noon – 6 p.m. Sundays in the Food Court. Seeing the Easter Bunny is always free, but photos cost extra. Visit the Westgate Mall website for photo prices.

Anderson

April 5

Greenville

Augusta Road Baptist Church will host its annual Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. April 5 at the church, located at 1823 Augusta St., Greenville. Greenville

Greenville County Rec will host a community-wide Easter egg hunt 6–8 p.m. April 7 at Gateway Park in Travelers Rest. Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy inflatables, free food, a scavenger hunt and free books. There is no cost to participate. April 8

Greenville

Enjoy a Bunny Brunch at 8:30 a.m. April 8 at the Children’s Museum of the Upstate. This popular annual event will include brunch, photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts, story time and an egg hunt, plus museum entrance. Update: This event is sold out. St. Giles Presbyterian in Greenville will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. April 8. Hunts will be divided into age groups. For details, call 864-244-4887. The church is located at 1021 Hudson Road.

Taylors 

Lee Road Baptist United Methodist Church in Taylors will host its annual community Easter Egg Huntand Meet the Bunny event at 10 a.m. April 8, rain or shine. For details, visit http://www.leeroadumc.org/fpcal.php?month=4&year=2017&day=8.

Mauldin 

The annual community Easter Egg Drop will be held noon – 4 p.m. April 8 at Sunset Park in Mauldin. Rain date is April 9. Thousands of eggs filled with prizes will be dropped from a helicopter, after which children can collect as many eggs as they can. Contact the Mauldin Recreation Department for more information.

Greer

The Easter Eggtastic Event is planned for 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. April 8 at Century Park in Greer. The free community event will include egg hunts, inflatables, crafts, magic shows, games and photos with the Easter Bunny. Bring your own basket. Rain date is 2 – 4 p.m. April 9. Oconee

World of Energy in Oconee will host a special spring celebration and Easter egg hunt 10 a.m. – noon April 8 at the education center, located at 7812 Rochester Highway. The celebration will feature a petting zoo, bounce house and slide, face-painters, a juggling and variety artist, and balloon twister. The event is being held in tandem with the World of Energy’s Festival of Eggs decorating contest. The competition includes 22 decorating teams for non-profits in the Upstate, each decorating a plastic 16-inch egg with their own details. The Eggstravaganza 2017 will be held 1 – 3 p.m. April 8 at Thomas Pack Memorial Park in Piedmont. Spartanburg

The Upstate Egg Hunt at Barnet Park in Spartanburg will be held at 11 a.m. April 8. Thousands of eggs will be hidden, and separate sections will be provided for preschool and elementary-aged children. After the egg hunt, everyone in attendance will get a free pizza lunch. Greenville

Greer

The Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Greer CPW  is planned for 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. April 10 at Praise Cathedral, 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer. Spartanburg

April 15

Greenville

The annual Easter Bunny Trail Hop 5K is planned for April 15 at Lake Conestee Nature Park. The race begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a special kids egg hunt for children 8 and younger. To register for the race or for more details, visit https://book-events.com/easterbunnytrailhop/.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 845 will host its first community and veteran Easter Egg Hunt noon April 15 at the Carolina Academy Baseball Field in Greenville. Spartanburg

The Easter Egg Scramble at Tyger River Park in Duncan will be held 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. April 15. Egg hunts will be organized into age groups. Easter Egg-stravaganza by World of Life Local Church Ministries will be held 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. April 15 at Upward Star Center, 9768 Warren Abernathy Highway, Spartanburg.
