Auditions for CYT’s winter workshop of Disney’s “The Lion King Kids” is at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at Anderson Christian School. The program is for ages 7 – 12. Rehearsals will be 5:30 – 8 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturdays at Anderson Christian School. For details and registration, visit

G — FREE! Peace Voices Teen Workshop is at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Peace Center. Teen poetry workshops for ages 13 – 19 are designed around a variety of topics that impact today’s youth. Sessions are led by Glenis Redmond and guest poets. Teens participating in the workshops will be invited to share their work in public poetry readings throughout the year. For details, visit
