LOCAL FREE STUFF

  • Halloween ComicFest 2017: During the annual Halloween ComicFest event, Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, if you go to a participating comic book store, you can get a free comic. Richard's Comics & Collectables in Greenville will have a costume contest, candy and comic giveaways, and appearances by comic book artists 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Borderlands Comics and Games will host a Halloween Comicfest 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. with free comics and appearance by the S.C. Ghostbusters. Planet Comics in Anderson will have free comics, candy and costume parties 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • Chuck E. Cheese will give any child who wears a Halloween costume to its restaurant through Oct. 31 50 free tickets. The offer is available once per day at participating locations.
  • Participating IHOP restaurant locations are offering a free "Scary Face Pancake" for kids 12 and under on Halloween, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Limit: one per child. Dine in only.
